Nurturing the creative wellbeing of artists through supervision

I’m a holistic mentor for (he)art centred creatives and organisations.

My work tunes into our need for greater depth in our personal and professional relationships, allowing us all to become more authentic: strengthened by clear boundaries, conscious giving, and respect for each other’s wellbeing.

PROCESS: WHAT IS CREATIVE WELLBEING

Why artists need creative supervision in Community & Health

Step 1:
Developing Sustainable practices

Working in arts and health is rich and rewarding — but it can also be overwhelming as artist's and creative art therapists own wellbeing is often unsupported.

As an artist and art therapist who has worked in both creative and health spaces, I know how easy it is to lose our creatives voice and identity in the service of others.

Step 2:
Creative calibration

Artists are often at the frontlines of emotional and social transformation.
To engage in this meaningful work, artists need creative held spaces to reconnect, reflect and replenish.
Reciprocal support reawakens their practice and helps creatives to manage the demands of arts and health work.

Step 3:
Into the flow

Through peer support, deeper connection and real conversations we can realign artists back to their creative flow:
Dissolving frustration and stuck-ness in creative cycles.
Re-balancing our natural sense of wellbeing.
Evolving our internal relationship with the dynamics of giving and receiving, reigniting feelings of joy and wonder.
Begin re-writing old paradigms of care.
