Smoothies really come into their own when you have a busy day in front of you or you are eating on the run. Whizz it up first thing in the morning and bring it with you in a sealed container. I always give a good shake before consuming.
- 1 large handful of spinach or kale
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of ground linseeds
- 1 apple – chopped
- A dash of lime
- Place the spinach, lime and apple in a liquidiser and add a small glass of water. Whizz till the spinach is well liquidised.
- Add the yogurt and the linseeds and blitz.
- Add more water if needed.
