Drawing from Nature: Deepening connections with mindful drawing
This FREE Mediation Drawing session is a gentle introduction into the world of creative self-care. We use simple drawing exercises with daily mindful practises to carve out precious time and space in our busy worlds to find ourselves again.
This session will focus on intimate relationship with nature as a way to reconnect to those still and silent parts of ourselves. The aim of the session will be to restore our inner equilibrium and build resilience in our outer world.
No drawing experience is required and no art materials are necessary. The drawing is more like doodling, repeating marks and patterns from the natural world around us. A simple pen or pencil will do fine, and any old newspaper, photocopy paper or notebook will do.
Mindful drawing takes place over Zoom and can be carried out in any public space, office or library.
